Dev. Dying Light 2: Dualsense Could Be One Of The Best Controllers Today

After 4 iterations of Dualshock, Sony this time decided to call the new PS5 controller “Dualsense”. The name was given because one of the main features of this controller is adaptive trigger as well as haptic feedback which gives a special sensation to various actions such as pulling arrows from a bow.

From the appearance of the controller itself, Dualsense has received a majority positive response. The combination of white and black makes this controller very stylish to look at. Now fans are just curious whether the console will have a similar modern and futuristic design.

Back to talking about Dualsense, several developers have given their opinion on this Dualsense announcement. Even though they haven’t got hold of it directly, many have given a positive response to this new generation of controllers.

One who has given his opinion is Tymon Smektala, principal designer of Techland. Together with PushSquare, he gave sweet praise to the PS5 controller even though he had not held it directly.

“I really like the Dualsense controller. The design is astounding, and as futuristic as you’d expect from 2020 – the sci-fi era we live in today. As for the shape itself, we need to hold it straight to know how well it fits in the hand, but just from looking at it, [controller] has made a very good impression – I think he has a chance to be one of the best in history, quite big in size but neat and cool at the same time.
I also feel that the features haptic feedback and adaptive triggers will have a big impact, bigger than people currently think. I’m really curious about how sturdy that thing is. It looks really neat, I wonder if it can withstand a fall or [dibanting] rage quit. But overall, even though I know people’s opinions are very mixed, for me [controller] it was fantastic.”

Unlike its rival, the Xbox Series X, Sony doesn’t seem in a hurry to announce the PS5. Until now, it is uncertain when they will give a full reveal of their new generation console and what games will be coming.
