Platinum Games indeed had time to rise again thanks to NieR: Automata, but who would have thought, they would show off their newest IP the year after the bombastic game by Yoko Taro.

Through the Square Enix E3 2018 Showcase, Platinum Games announced its newest IP titled Babylon’s Fall. The trailer doesn’t show anything informative about the game. He was just showing off a historical event from ancient times called Awakening and a knight thrusting his sword at the enemy.

There has been no information from Square-Enix and Platinum Games about the latest game this time apart from confirmation that it will be released in 2019 for PC and PlayStation 4. However, it is likely that it will have a mechanism that is more or less similar to Bayonetta or NieR: Automata.
