Dynasty Warriors Producer Still Interested in Presenting Open World Games
A sequel to a video game is certainly expected to be better than its predecessor installation, starting from a technical point of view such as graphics for example, to in terms of games such as what new innovations are presented in it. Of course, there are not a few games that are actually not better or even better. worse than its predecessor. Call it one of them, Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors 9 which tried to bring the Open World formula, but instead was not liked by the fans.

The Dynasty Warriors series itself is now entering its 20th anniversary. The developer himself is releasing a special video about the journey of the game that popularized the musou genre from generation to generation. That’s not all, Akihiro Suzuki recently spoke to Famitsu (via Gematsu) regarding the future of Dynasty Warriors itself, one of which of course is the new Dynasty Warriors game which is planned to be announced in the near future.
In addition to the new game, Akihiro also raised his voice regarding Dynasty Warriors 9 which was not as successful as its predecessor games and has received a lot of criticism. The developer itself has no plans to release a version of Xtreme Legends for Dynasty Warriors 9 because the system is not suitable. However, the producer also revealed that he is still interested in presenting the Open World game, but most likely not for the Dynasty Warriors game anymore.
The next (Dynasty Warriors) games probably won’t have Open World. However, even though I myself don’t know how to best show the charm of Romance of the Three Kingdoms or other titles, I still want to give it a try.
Bringing Dynasty Warriors 9-2 is certainly an interesting idea, but that’s just my personal opinion.
