Far Cry 6 Brings Dictatorship and Politics Themes
With the main antagonist played by famous actors.
Ever since the leaks of information started echoing including the trailer which was leaked one day earlier, many fans started predicting what the gameplay of would be like Far Cry 6. Unfortunately, they did not get more detailed information from the game other than the leaked trailer information. The good news, today Ubisoft immediately spilled all the latest information from Far Cry 6.

Ubisoft officially announces that Far Cry 6 will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on February 18, 2021. The game will take on the theme of politics and dictatorship where your main enemy is a dictator who rules the Yara archipelago named Anton Castillo. Castillo played live by the actor Mandalorian and The Boys, Giancarlo Esposito. In other words, Esposit’s face and voice are what Ubisoft will use in the game.
Interestingly, Ubisoft also presents several other big players such as Anthony Gonzalez (Coco) who will play Castillo’s son Diego, composer Pedro Bromfman (Narcos), and the opening directed by Patrick Clair (Westworld, True Detective). Presenting the caliber of Hollywood films in the game is certainly a project that is not a joke for Ubisoft.
Developed by Ubisoft Toronto, Far Cry 6 will present a guerrilla revolution set in the Yara Islands. Its president, Anton Castillo, vows to return his country to its former glory while teaching his son Diego to follow in his footsteps. But all of Castillo’s efforts had a price to pay. In other words he had to crush all those who dared to oppose his leadership.
You will feel how the riots of the guerrillas during the battle where they will be killed very cruelly by Castillo’s henchmen.
Ubisoft Toronto’s Narrative Director explains that a very strong and complex antagonist is the hallmark of the series Far Cry. Working with an actor of the caliber of Giancarlo Esposito was their first step towards giving Castillo a scary and complex character.
In the game later, you will play the male and female versions of Dani Rojas, a Yara citizen who took part in the revolution against Anton Castillo. You will become a guerrilla and explore an island nation consisting of wilderness to its city center in Esperanza.
Of course to take down the Castillo regime, you will need several weapons and vehicles until Fang will accompany you like Chorizo, a dog who will accompany you on your mission. This feature was also implemented in the previous iteration.
Same as series Far Cry On the other hand, Ubisoft will present several editions of Far Cry 6 starting from the standard, Gold which contains the Season Pass, Ultimate which contains the season pass, jungle expedition pack, croc hunter pack, and Vice pack, to the collector’s edition which contains all the ultimate content with a 72cm long replica of the flamethrower, a replica of Tostador, artwork from Tobatron “ How to Assemble”, Steelbook, 64-page Artbook, 10 stickers, Chorizo keyring, maps, and several soundtracks from the game.
Those of you who pre-order will get a Libertad Pack containing Libertad costumes for Chorizo and Discos Locos, a disc launcher that will make enemies “dance to death”.
Far Cry 6 will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on February 18, 2021. Those of you who buy it on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will get the opportunity to upgrade the game for free to the next-gen console.
