For those of you who have been waiting for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered to be released on Mobile for Android and iOS, players can finally rejoice, because the game ported by Square Enix has been released. Previously, it was known that FFCC would be released on Android and iOS and become one of the free-to-play games that can be played at the time of its release. Even better, this game features a cross-platform co-op system where players can play on all existing platforms together with other players, and it is rumored that this feature can be presented to free players, and players who have paid.
Unfortunately, this feature turns out to be only useful for players who have paid for FFCC, because only players who have paid can create rooms so that other players can enter and follow the existing quests. Worse yet, the story quests that are completed when completing the quest are only players who have created the room, indirectly those who play together must complete 1 quest 4 times (Maximum players in one room are 4 people). The multiplayer feature itself is also region lock, and until now there are still several countries that have not yet received the release of this FFCC (including Indonesia). Not only that, there is also a connection problem in the game which makes many people feel annoyed with the multiplayer feature.
There is also a problem where android players don’t get physical controller support, so all android players have to use the touchscreen to move their characters. Even though there are so many buttons in the game, especially games made by Square Enix, which are popular because of AAA games on consoles. They should have provided controller support for the android version of this FFCC.
In addition, cloud save, which was one of the promised features at the beginning of its release, turned out to be a feature that had to be paid for before it could be unlocked. In addition, there are also problems with loading times which are quite long for remastered games from companies like Square Enix.
Yes, of course, with the many problems above, the criticism given from fans is quite harsh, on Twitter itself some of the comments are there criticize the game. One of them even said that “You are not allowed to be proud of this.” indirectly says that the game is not the best game. IGN itself has given 3/10 even though the version before the remaster got 7.6/10.
