Ubisoft Secretly Created a Prince of Persia Twitter Account?
Will the new Prince of Persia be announced soon?
With the announcement that Ubisoft will present a replacement event for E3 2020 through Ubisoft Forward which will be held in early July. Some fans are starting to guess what they will announce other than the games that have been announced. But it seems that soon the French publisher and developer will return their famous franchise.
We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.
At least that’s a sign that a reddit user named NayamaAmarshe found. He found a Twitter account with the username @PrinceofPersia which is currently being private with no followers and is not following any accounts.
At first glance, the account created in May 2020 could just be someone’s prank to give false hope to his fans. Because if the PrinceOfPersia username can be used, then anyone will be able to create it. But when NayamaAmarshe tried to check through the forgot password feature on Twitter, he found something the opposite.
This is because NayamaAmarshe found that his password recovery e-mail appeared to be connected to the Ubisoft domain, the franchise owner Prince of Persia. As can be seen from the image below (which we captured ourselves) it can be seen that although the name and email domain are censored in order to maintain the security of each Twitter user, the letters arranged in the domain are sufficient to form the word “Ubisoft”. Indicates that they are developing a game Prince of Persia new.
Of course, this news does not need to be taken seriously. Because someone could make a domain name with seven letters that start with the letter “u” in front of it. Even so, the phenomenon of creating new Twitter accounts for game franchises is not something new for some publishers to promote their new games.
What do you think? Is it time for Ubisoft to return the franchise? Prince of Persia in the near future considering the next-gen console will soon surface?
