Idol Group JKT48 Officially Forms Their Own E-Sport Team!

After it was announced a few months ago that the Indonesian Idol Group, JKT48, would soon form its own e-Sport team, finally on 15 December 2018 to coincide with the Lenovo Gaming League Idol Group event, which has 3 Teams and 2 Academy, officially announced the e-Sport team. they were named Valkyrie 48.

The e-Sport team consists of six women consisting of, Jinan Safa Safira, Tan Zhi Hui Celine, Aninditha Rahma Cahyadi, Syarhfira Angela, Sinka Juliani, and Desy Purnamasari. Of the five team members, all of them have their own specialties such as Anin to the PUBG game and Jinan to the game made by Tencent AOV. Based on the official JKT48 website, the main goal of forming this E-sports team as a “NATIONAL IDOL” with all its uniqueness is to become a symbol of e-Sports in Indonesia, and expand it to all of ASIA. This is not surprising, because there are many members of JKT48 who often play games such as AOV or PUBG Mobile. Where they are quite diligent in uploading their fun playing games on the JKT48 TV Youtube channel.
