Lenovo Prepares First Gaming Smartphone With Snapdragon 865 Plus

The first gaming phone from Lenovo will be released on July 22, 2020, or tomorrow. Through a teaser video released, this gaming phone from Lenovo will be the first phone to use the latest chipset from Qualcomm, namely Snapdragon 865 plus.

Snapdragon 865 plus is the latest System On Chip (SOC) from Qualcomm which was announced in early July. This chipset is claimed to have 10% better performance than the regular Snapdragon 865 version. This is because the Snapdragon 865 plus has a clockspeed of 3.1 GHz.

The GPU or graphics processing of the Snapdragon 865 Plus also has better performance than the standard variant. With the use of this chipset, Lenovo Legion will certainly have a very strong performance for today’s mobile games.

In addition to bringing the latest chipset, Lenovo Legion also uses 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage media.

As a gaming phone, Lenovo Legion is also equipped with a large capacity battery, which is 5,000 mAh with fast charging technology and the latest Android version 10.
