It is known that recently the CEO of Moonton, issued a letter to all his employees, that Moonton will be acquired by Bytedance. Yes, you read it right, because the Mobile Legends game will now be acquired by the TikTok Social Media Application developer.

Moonton and ByteDance have officially reached a strategic acquisition agreement. But even so, Moonton will still take care of their operations and help ByteDance’s operations to develop the game market globally.
ByteDance itself is reported to have acquired Moonton by spending $500,000 or at least Rp. 70,000,000,000, – (Seventy Trillion Rupiah). It is not surprising to see the popularity of the game around the world. Moonton and ByteDance themselves are well known in Indonesia, through the applications and games they have developed. At the time this article was written, both of them were perched as one of the best applications and games on Google Play Indonesia.
In ByteDance’s open letter, its CEO Yuan Jing said that they will continue to use technology, content, and more to develop exciting games globally. In this way, ByteDance shows its seriousness to expand its wings in the global gaming market.
