Niantic Banned Pokemon Go Players Who Use Xiaomi Phones

Recently, there was an issue with the banning of accounts of several Pokemon Go players using Xiaomi phones, this was first reported by someone on the Reddit forum some time ago.

He claimed that he received a love letter from Niatic, in that letter he was banned because he had cheated in playing the game, and installed third-party applications that were not authorized by the developer. Feeling not doing that he ended up making a discussion on the Reddit forum.

After he opened the discussion, it turned out that the same thing was felt by other players who used Xiaomi phones, they generally got the love letter for the same reason that they had installed and cheated in the game.

The player who posted the problem is reported to be using a Xiaomi phone, the Redmi 5 series. He was confused as to why he could get a warning even though he didn’t break the rules at all.

There’s been a lot of speculation regarding this issue, but they agree that this problem might have happened thanks to the Game Booster app in MIUI, causing an error in the Niatic algorithm that got him banned from the game.
