Officially Up, Here's The New Netflix Subscription Price List For August 2020
Netflix officially announced an increase in subscription prices in Indonesia on August 1 last. This was triggered by the start of the 10% tax levy scheme that the Indonesian government had enacted which was set last July.

This regulation is included in the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 48/PMK.03/2020 where companies import digital products in the form of intangible goods and services including online streaming services, will be subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) of 10 percent.
Netflix itself has announced this information to all of its subscribers, both new and existing subscribers.
“For new Netflix members, they can already see the new subscription prices starting today. We have also started to convey information regarding this change in fees to our old members,” quoted Gamebrott from Kompas, Monday (03/08/2020).
The increase in the subscription rate itself varies, the price increase ranges from Rp. 5 thousand to Rp. 17 thousand. This price is the price that has been added VAT of 10%.
