Then, what PlayStation 5 games have been confirmed to be coming in 2021? What are our recommendations? Here are the PlayStation 5 games to look forward to in 2021.

Return

This game is one of the PS5 exclusives that will show the power of the latest console from Sony. Unfortunately, since the announcement, we don’t know the specific story about Return. But one thing is for sure, this game is a Roguelike genre, where when you are revived, the world and how to solve it will change.

Return only described as telling the story of a woman named Selene after she made an emergency landing on an alien planet that was able to change her form. Players will be required to fight it and escape from the alien threat.

Return planned to be released on March 19, 2021 exclusively for PlayStation 5.

Ghostwire: Tokyo

Presented by Creative Director Ikumi Nakamura at E3 who eventually left Tango GameWorks, Ghostwire: Tokyo is the latest first-person action thriller game from the developer The Evil Within the. The game tells the story of the city of Tokyo which lost 99% of its population which was replaced by scary spirits.

Players will be tasked with unraveling the mystery behind the disappearance of the human population in Tokyo while beating the spirits and demons that roam the Japanese capital. Gameplay Ghostwire: Tokyo will dwell on players who play in first-person or first-person perspective and it looks like he will have a magic power that can be issued through his hands called Kuji-kiri.

Players will be able to do takedowns, combos, and ranged attacks. Enemies can be killed using spiritual wire, when the “core” appears. Just like action games and RPGs, some enemies also seem to have immunity to certain attacks.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits

When the trailer was first announced, Kena: Bridge of Spirits suddenly made thousands of fans amazed thanks to the animation that the developer implemented. This is not a surprise considering the developer itself, Ember Lab is an animation studio that has been working for many years. But his first debut as a video game developer through Kena: Bridge of Spirits seems to be coloring PlayStation 5 fans this year.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits tells the story of a female spirit guide named Kena who will help the spirits who are trapped in the real and astral worlds due to trauma or unfinished business. Kena is also said to have a purpose to go to a temple located in the mountains to uncover the mystery of why the spirits seem troubled. On his way, he will meet a creature named Rot who will help him explore the world he is exploring.

The game is planned for release in the first quarter of 2021 or around January-March due to slower development due to COVID-19.

Horizon: Forbidden West

Success with its first iteration, story Horizon: Zero Dawn looks like it will continue. This is because the ending of the story still signals the continuation of Aloy’s story in uncovering the mysteries of the machines. Sure enough, Guerrilla Games is serious about continuing its story in Horizon: Forbidden West.

The game seems to be designed exactly the same as the previous iteration. Here, Aloy will explore a new area called the Forbidden West to uncover the secrets of the past while facing new enemies and befriending some of the tribes that inhabit it.

Sony itself did not confirm when Horizon: Forbidden West will be released. They only explained that the game will launch in mid-late 2021. In other words we have to wait for it between July-December 2021 later. But with the situation still chaotic like this, the possibility of that date changing is very large.

God of War: Ragnarok

2018 reboot from God of War which is fantastic for Sony Santa Monica continues the story of Kratos in the next iteration which we now know with the title Ragnarok. It’s not clear what the details of the story will be, but the basic story will include Kratos and his son, Atreus to face a new enemy as Ragnarok gets closer.

At the end of the story God of War 2018 yesterday, the two were met with the god of thunder Thor. But it looks like the meeting will not go peacefully. According to the trailer, last June 2020, Kratos seemed to tell Atreus to prepare himself. Indicate that later stories will focus on Norse gods.

It’s not clear when the game will be released even though the trailer clearly says 2021, but with COVID-19, things might change.
