This is because Ubisoft seems to have another surprise that they will announce, Prince of Persia Remake which suddenly leaked at a Guatemalan retailer called MAX. Of course, the leaked link that originally appeared on the Resetera forum was immediately deleted. Luckily one of the forum users, Schlorgan managed to share a screenshot that had been shared by a Twitter user named Ken Xyro.

Jason Schreier, a video game industry investigative journalist who now works at Bloomberg, admitted that MAX basically destroyed all of Ubisoft’s surprise plans for its fans. In other words, he confirmed the existence Prince of Persia Remake which Ubisoft is currently working on.

It is not yet clear which version Ubisoft will remake. I don’t know version Sands of Time or reboot in 2008 ago. The image that MAX leaked also appeared to have surfaced on Reddit some time ago. They planned it to be released in the 2020 holiday season or the end of 2020 later, but this plan could fail due to the COVID-19 pandemic and make it have to be released in 2021.

Of course we remind you not to trust the information above 100% and take it as a mere rumor. But you can wait for the certainty of the information when the next Ubisoft Forward is planned to be held in September 2020.
