Responding to this, Jeff Fowler as the director of the film said on his Twitter account that he understood that Sonic’s design with his human teeth ignited the warheads of his game fans. He promised fans, Paramount Pictures, and SEGA to redesign Sonic.

It is not yet clear to what extent they will redesign Sonic. If it’s designed to be similar to the original, then they should at least postpone the film’s already set release date of November 8th to avoid working overtime for the animators and 3D modellers. But if you look at the fans who don’t have a problem with this at all, it looks like they don’t need to rush to finish it.

Sonic co-creator himself, Naoto Ohshima said that he really liked some Sonic models. He is concerned and worried that the protests of the fans with the new design made by Blue Blur will not make them have fun with Sonic.

Stay tuned for news about film adaptations Sonic the Hedgehog so you can get the latest information from him.
