PS4 500 GB Can No Longer Hold Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Cold War
The file size of the 2 newest Call of Duty games has become a joke for many gamers. How not, the size of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reaches more than 200GB and Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War is also increasingly following. Immensely large in size for both games, Activision makes a direct statement for PS4 gamers with just a 500GB hard drive.

Through the official blog, the publisher explained that PS4 owners with 500GB HDDs are advised to ‘make space’ aka delete some games if they want to save both Modern Warfare/Warzone and Black Ops Cold War at the same time.
Activision also recommends deleting unused game content by clicking R3 while in the Black Ops Cold War main-menu. Later players can delete game content such as campaigns or zombies if there are no plans to play the two modes. The same thing can be done in Modern Warfare by accessing the ‘general’ menu and then selecting ‘game installs’.
If the player is still forcing himself to have all the content of the two games, chances are the hard-drive will be full and unable to carry out the next update process that is much needed for online multiplayer games like this to be able to play. But it’s also not wrong to immediately upgrade to PS4 storage, seeing that games are now natural to take tens to hundreds of gigabytes to store.
