However, reality says otherwise. Recently the PS5 has had the lowest sales rate in Japan. About six weeks after the launch, it turned out that only about 240,000 units of the PS5 were launched in Japan. The article has stated that if the current buying rate continues, the total sales of the PS5 will only be equivalent to half that of the PS4 or even less.
