PUBG Asian Server Has Many Problems, Developer Explains The Reason

Asian servers have a lot of problems.

After previously being flooded with negative reviews on Steam by Chinese gamers thanks to the messy server, now the developers PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) explain the reason behind the problem its server in Asia is having.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

Through a post on the official website, the developer apologized for the problem and explained the reason. They explained that the main reason was the development speed that was not proportional to the skyrocketing increase in players filling the server. Since the end of last June, a new player PUBG keep growing. This causes them to have to create a new server architecture. However, when the new server architecture has not been finalized, the addition of new players is getting faster. The disproportionate addition of players resulted in connection and server problems.

The problem of increasing users that is so fast also occurs in China and several other Asian servers. Some new players in the Asian region have very fast growth, unfortunately the cloud service owned by the developer can’t add more physical servers. To overcome this, the developer added a server in another cloud service without having time to test it. This resulted in many servers being overloaded and ending up crashing continuously. Currently the developer is figuring out what the problem is and preparing a solution for the future PUBG.
