Radical Heights Developer Complains about Epic Game Taking Its Employees

Having made his name through the Gears of War series made by Epic Games as Creative Director (before he created his own game studio), Cliff Bleszinski recently made a statement that was quite conflicting. Through his Twitter account, Bleszinski accused Epic Games of taking the Boss Key Production development team (his current studio), and asked Epic Games not to do that.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

We can see from Bleszinski’s twitter account, where he asked Epic to stop recruiting the developer team, in addition he is also quite proud of the newly released Battle Royale game Boss Key Production, namely, Radical Heights which uses Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 4. Bleszinski feels that this kind of action was carried out by Epic Games because Boss Key Production’s latest game has the same genre as Fortnite, and surely the game will compete with fortnite.

“There is a lot of place in this genre for some SMH games.” Bleszinski said. In another tweet, the developer said that Boss Key had “a lot” of ideas to make the Radical Height game superior, but it looks like Epic Games’ move in recruiting the developer team is an obstacle. “We have many avenues to make this genre ours, but we’ll never see the light if they keep doing this,” he added.

It’s still unclear how many of Boss Key Production’s developers left the studio and joined Epic, but it seems like a fairly large number considering how Bleszinski dared to voice his grievances in public.

So far, Epic has refused to comment on this issue.
