Rainbow Six Siege Prepares MUTE Protocol Futuristic Event

Feels like cyberpunk.

Since CD Projekt RED re-announced their old project which is Cyberpunk 2077. Slowly but surely, some other developers believe that the next trend is the Cyberpunk theme which contains some future technology. Of course, this was accompanied by the release of several games with similar themes. However Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege seems to have another approach to it.

Through the MUTE Protocol, Ubisoft is introducing a limited futuristic event that will take place on August 4-17 2020. The event will feature a modified Tower map. Defender will defend the server from attackers who invaded. Interestingly, defenders will be able to teleport along the map by inserting their bodies into a camera. Meanwhile, the attacker will be able to control the drone via observation tools.

When this event starts, there are 41 operators that can be tried with several other operators that cannot be played due to gameplay problems. Jackal, Lion, Ying, Kapkan, Mira, Mute, Vigil, and Oryx are rumored to have sci-fi-themed cosmetics.
