Who is Rampart? What are his abilities?

Season 5 Apex Legends it’s been on the air for a few weeks. The season that added Loba and updated the King’s Canyon map gives you the opportunity to find out the story behind Loba and Revenant’s relationship and what Hammond Robotics is hiding in the game’s iconic map. But this apparently didn’t stop fans from knowing the content of the season 6 game. One of them is the existence of Rampart as the new Legend of the game.

Since the release of the Season 5 trailer, many fans have believed that they will know the leaks of the next Season hidden in the game. Sure enough, a dataminer named Suum discovered that the artifact digger that appeared in his PVE mode was one of the abilities Rampart would have.

The digger is said to be a turret that is none other than a mounted machinegun that can be used by you or your teammates. It has a very high ammo capacity, but with a long reload time.

Other dataminers like Shrugtal even got information on other legend abilities besides Rampart. Some of the next legends that will be released include Valk, Blisk, Downfall, Forge (he notes that the file is deleted, he probably won’t be released), Husaria, Immortal, Jericho, Nomad, Reckoner, Seer, Skunner. Of course, the file is not final and may be replaced or completely deleted because the characteristics of game development are always changing all the time.

However, Rampart is one of the legends that is confirmed to be in the works and is almost finished. It will have the following abilities:

  • Amped Cover: Create protection using a barrier that will block incoming fire and increase the damage of the shot that is being launched by your team.
  • Emplaced HMG (Ultimate): Install a mounted machine gun for you to use or use by your teammates. Have a lot of bullets, but with a long reload time. Requires heavy ammo (Formerly named, My Friend Maxim).
  • Gunner (Passive): Increases light machine gun bullet capacity and reload time.
  • Fixer (Possibly Added Passive Abilities): Change equipment to melee to repair your teammates’ devices. Similar to Torbjorn’s ability in Overwatch.
  • Cover Fire (Possibly Added Passive Ability): Shoots from cover, increasing your gun fire damage.

Rampart is currently the attention of many fans, but on the other hand, many fans still believe that previous legends like Forge will be presented again. Previously, Forge was announced to be a new contestant in the Apex Game, but unfortunately he was killed by Revenant who also became an introduction to Revenant’s presence.

At the beginning of last May, the storyteller Apex Legends, Tom Casiello explained that Forge may not be present in the game. But he also teased fans with his possible future presence. It raises a big question whether Forge will actually come to Apex Legends after the story and conflicts between characters end in the future.
