Realme 8 5G could be a rebranding of Realme V13 5G

Realme introduced the Realme 8 last month, and today the company revealed that it will also be releasing a 5G variant on April 21.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

This announcement comes from Realme Thailand who posted a short video on its official Facebook account revealing the design of the Realme 8 5G.

In the video posted by realme, the Realme 8 5G will not have the super large “Dare To Leap” written on its back like the 4G variant, which is not to everyone’s liking. Also, unlike the 4G model which comes with a 64MP quad camera, the 5G version will have a smaller camera sensor, the main camera having a 48MP sensor.

In addition, the video clip also does not show the front of the Realme 8 5G. However, we believe this smartphone will use a punch hole type design. That’s because the Realme 8 5G seems to be a rebranding of the V13 5G which was announced in China last month.

The allegation was strengthened after this phone was seen on Geekbench and FCC with Dimensity 700 SoC, 8GB RAM, Android 11, 5,000 mAh battery, and a fingerprint scanner feature that is present on the side – the phone, where this feature is also present in the V13 5G.

In addition, the thickness (8.5mm) and weight (185 grams) of the Realme 8 5G are also the same as those of the V13 5G. The only difference between the two phones is the absence of the NFC feature on the Realme V13 5G.

If this information is correct, the realme 8 5G will have specifications such as an FHD+ resolution screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging features.

However, until now there is no official information whether the Realme 8 5G will enter Indonesia in the future, so we have to wait for further information.
