Respawn Banned Over 700 High Rank Cheaters in Apex Legends

This game is full of ranked cheats.

If you ask what shooter game is currently rarely infected by cheaters, then Apex Legends is the answer. But that doesn’t mean this game is completely clean of these naughty players, because most of them don’t cover regular matches but are ranked.

Players who successfully reach the top with the Apex Predator title will get special badges and high honors because of their high abilities. No wonder many of them compete by cheating using illegal programs.

Respawn itself has cleared cheaters on Apex Legends from year to year. Last November, they even banned approximately 419 high-ranking players. Now, their number continues to grow, making Respawn have to again impose a permanent sentence for them.

700+ accounts used for cheating in ranked (Gold-Pred) have been permanently banned since last Thurdasy. This does not, and will not, include any accounts that used an infinite heat shield exploit. Love you all???

Conor Ford, Security Analyst from Respawn Entertainment explained that almost all ranked players from Gold to Apex Predator are cheaters. They have permanently banned more than 700 cheating accounts and will continue to monitor them.

Ford also explained that they still haven’t banned those who take advantage of the heat shield glitch, a new item added to protect themselves from ring and ring flares, an event that is still ongoing. Respawn is currently fixing the issue and will most likely be temporarily banned for those who take advantage of the glitch.
