[REVIEW] One Punch Man The Strongest - Free Player Friendly RPG Mobile Game

Who doesn’t know Saitama the main character from anime One Punch Man? After the success of the anime and manga, now One Punch Man has the official game for mobile devices. Published by FingerFun Limited which was released on June 14 yesterday on the PlayStore and open server on June 16, 2020. This game adapted from the anime whose main character Saitama is certainly very much awaited by fans because as we know Saitama is a very overpowered person who can defeat his enemies with just one touch. one hit.

And in this post I will give a little review according to my experience regarding this One Punch Man game after playing for about a week.

1. Hero Voices

   

   The first thing that made me like this game is that the voice actors in the One Punch Man game are the same as the voice actors in the original anime. Starting from Saitama, Sonic, Genos, Mumen Rider, Silverfang and many more and of course using Japanese. It’s like providing an experience similar to watching the anime while playing this game. The anime feel really feels good. Especially when the character releases a skill there is an animation which is taken from the scene in the original anime. It’s good

   Because this game is based on the original anime story, of course there is also a story mode in this game. However, this story mode does not open immediately, but must meet the requirements of collecting stars to be able to open each level of this story mode. And of course the story is also sequential like the story in the original anime. So you can go back to following the story from the anime again through this game.

3. Gameplay

   
   The gameplay of the One Punch Man game uses an RPG system which uses BP as a measure of one’s strength. If you have ever played NInja Saga then you will be familiar with the gameplay in this game. Where should we upgrade character, skill, gear, and others to increase our BP count. Carrying out missions is also mandatory to add exp to level up and level becomes a requirement to unlock various features. Since this is an RPG game, this game uses a gacha system to recruit new heroes.

4. Saitama is not a Playable Character

   Salute to this game for not making Saitama a playable character, because if it can be played it will make this game unbalanced. But it’s not that Saitama can’t be played at all. Saitama can still be used as an aid to defeat strong enemies. And of course with just one hit the enemy immediately koit. Aside from being an aid, Saitama can also be used to carry out investigative missions to find materials. And Saitama also has its own menu, where in this menu we can solve puzzles with pictures of scenes in the anime. This puzzle can give you additional stats when you have completed it.

6. Not really pay to win

   Indeed, if you hear the word RPG, it is synonymous with Pay to Win. Yes, it’s not wrong either. But if I think that I have played this game for more than a week, it turns out that even though this game is an RPG, this game is not too Pay to Win. Increasing the BP is also easy and not too dependent on money (buy in-game items). It all goes back to the player’s discretion in strategizing and wanting to upgrade first. Even though it is played for Free to Win, this game is still worth playing for a Free Player like me because it can still compete with other players without having to shell out.

7. Conclusion

   I think this game is a development to improve One Punch Man fans so that they are not quickly forgotten. Maybe this game can also be used as a form to satisfy the One Punch Man fans again, where the previous OPM fans were disappointed when this anime released its 2nd season which was considered to be very low in quality from the first season. Btw, this game still doesn’t present several characters, such as Metal Knight, Zombie Man, Blast, Garo and others. Hopefully there will be an update for additional heroes in this game.
