[Rumor] Horizon Zero Dawn Coming Soon to PC

In recent years, the trend of exclusivity to increase console sales seems to have slowly begun to fade and be replaced by timed-exclusive. Games that were released on consoles made by Sony, for example, are slowly making their way to PCs. One of them is like Quantic Dreams which is now bringing all its games to other platforms.

Indeed, most of these games are not from first party studio belongs to Sony, but recently there was news that the game Horizon Zero Dawn, a PS4 exclusive game developed by Guerilla Games as a developer from SIE Worldwide Studios, will soon be coming to the PC platform.

Reporting from Kotaku, this news comes from three people who claim to be familiar with Sony’s future plans. The identities of these three sources are kept confidential because of course they are not allowed to divulge this information to the public. Sony itself has not provided an official statement regarding this matter.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this game, Horizon Zero Dawn is a game open world which has a game background post-apocalypse, where the world is now filled with dinosaur robots and humans are back to life like pre-historic times. This game was first released on February 28, 2017.

Another interesting thing might be that this game is built using the Decima Engine, where engine this was also used by Kojima Productions in working on Death Stranding. And when it comes to Death Stranding, the game headed by Hideo Kojima is too timed-exclusive for PS4 and will be coming to PC in the middle of this year.

As usual, the author reminds that this information is still only a rumor or a figment. So don’t just believe it, at least until it is confirmed directly by Guerilla Games or Sony itself.
