Sega Apologizes After Yakuza Director Insinuates Pro Player Puyo Puyo
In a livestream organized by Sega, Toshihiro Nagoshi, who is known as the director and producer of Yakuza, was asked his opinion on the esport event of Sega’s iconic puzzle game – Puyo Puyo. Nagoshi unintentionally stirred up the community’s emotions from the game after he called the pro Puyo Puyo players “The boys who look serious” then continued with “they look like they eat meat rice (gyuudon) with cheese”.
