Brutal and full of innovation, there seems to be no other word to describe what Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is all about. Evidently, the reforms and hard work they did were not in vain, this morning through the 2019 The Game Awards event, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice managed to win the Game of the Year title. Sekiro managed to defeat 5 other tough candidates such as Resident Evil 2 Remake, Control, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Outter Worlds, and Death Stranding.

Of course, this is one of the extraordinary achievements for Hidetaka Miyazaki and From Software, their idealism in presenting challenging and innovative games has proven to exceed expectations. Once again, congratulations!
