Some of the New Features in Samsung One UI 2.5

Samsung recently rolled out its Android OS update, One UI 2.5 for the Galaxy S20 device. Previously an update was also launched for the Galaxy Note 20, and of course Samsung also wants to bring One UI 2.5 to many other Samsung devices such as the Galaxy S10, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S9, and Note 9.

One UI 2.5 brings some minor updates but brings a number of improvements, one of which is a changed system animation. Samsung is already planning this update for several devices, including:

Gesture Navigation Support For Third-Party Launcher

With the release of Android 10 / One UI 2 years ago, Samsung actually added a gesture navigation feature, but these gestures only work on the stock launcher. With the One UI 2.5 update, Samsung has finally added support for using Android 10’s gesture navigation to third-party launchers. With this update, you are free to use your favorite launcher like nova or poco launcher.

Pro Video Mode

On Flagship phones, maybe Pro mode has become commonplace in camera applications that allow users to manually adjust camera settings, such as ISO, shutter speed, white balance, AF points, and other options before taking the desired picture.

With One UI 2.5, Samsung brings the same Pro mode for video. In this mode, you can change the aspect ratio of the camera when recording video up to 21: 9 in order to present a cinematic effect up to 8k resolution, choose the microphone used when recording video, because there is a feature where you can use an external microphone or use bluetooth earbuds such as the Galaxy Buds as microphone source when recording video.

Sharing Wifi Password Easier

Now you can share your Wifi Password easily, because when you connect to a new wifi, an option will appear to ask for the password from the nearest Galaxy owner.

For the rest of the features there are Wireless DeX which has the same functionality as the previous DeX, only this time wirelessly. How it works, look for the DeX icon from the quick settings panel, then look for a device that supports Miracast whether it’s your monitor or Smart TV, it will automatically connect. Once connected, you can use your smartphone as a touchpad.
