Sony Confirms That 99% of PS4 Games Can Be Played on PS5

After confirming that the PS5 console which will be released in November is priced at 7.5 million for the standard version and digital edition at a price of 6 million, this time the CEO of Sony, Jim Ryan confirmed that 99% of PS4 will be playable on PS5. This can be realized thanks to the backward compatibility of the PS5, where upon release you will immediately be able to play PS4 games after subscribing to PlayStation Plus to access a new feature called “The PlayStation Plus Collection”.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

The main reason Ryan brings this one feature is because the PS4 itself is one of the best selling consoles from Sony. PS4 itself has managed to reach 2.1 million units since it was first released in 2013. Therefore, the CEO is committed to bringing back PS4 games that can be played on PS4. So far, there have been several PS4 exclusive games that you can play on PS5 which were shown at the PS5 Showcase some time ago, including Bloodbrone, Days Gone, The Last Guardian, Uncharted 4, and God of War.

Of course, this is also good news for PlayStation fans, because with its ability to almost play 99% of the PS4 games, you can still reminisce or feel the sensation of playing games with more stable performance on PS5.
