Spongebob and Destroy All Humans Remake Exceeds THQ Nordic Expectations

After getting back up, THQ Nordic started trying to revive their old franchises. Spongebob Squarepants: Battle of Bikini Bottom Rehydrated and Destroy All Humans got remakes and released in the same year. The making of this remake is as if to test how interested gamers are with these two old franchises, and it seems that the performance of both games exceeds publisher expectations.

Through a presentation from Embracer Group, the parent company of THQ Nordic, CEO Lars Wingefors announced that both games have exceeded their target.

Spongebob Squarepants: Battle of Bikini Bottom Rehydrated has sold over 1 million copies in 2 months. Meanwhile, Destroy All Humans did not mention how many copies were sold, but it is also said to have exceeded the expectations of the Embracer Group.

Apart from selling performance, the reception of both games from the community was well received. Indeed, judging by the reviews of the media, the two games received scores that are not so luxurious, but the positive response from fans is the most important thing for them at this time.

Spongebob Squarepants: Battle of Bikini Bottom Rehydrated and Destroy All Humans has been released on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch (for Spongebob).
