Steam Releases ISP Performance in Indonesia, Telkomsel and Indihome Become the Slowest

Steam, the world’s largest gaming platform, recently released data on internet speed in each country. In their release, it contains internet speed rankings from providers in Indonesia.

In this ranking, there is interesting information, where Telkomsel and Indihome are lined up as the providers with the worst performance. Steam provides information on the average download speed of each of their clients from popular providers in Indonesia.

In this ranking, Steam places Telkomsel as the late provider with an average download speed of only 6.6 Mbps. Then followed by Telkom Indonesia with a download speed of 7 Mbps.

What is interesting is that both Telkomsel and Telkom are a company owned by the Telkom Group.

Then, for the first rank with the best performance, the MyRepublic ID provider was successfully obtained with an average download speed of 35 Mbps. The second rank was obtained by PT XL Axiata Tbk with an average download speed of 28.5 Mbps. The third rank was obtained by Biznet Network which has a very close difference with the second rank, which is 28.3 Mbps.

Of course, with the release of the ranking above, it makes consumers more open to information so they can choose the provider they will use to connect their device to the Internet.
