An important message from our studio:
The Sinking City has been taken off Steam and from other platforms. The reason for the take-down is due to the actions of our Distributor BBI/Nacon. Here is our full statement.

Through the 4-page statement they shared, Wael Amr, CEO of Frogwares explained that there was a dispute between their studio and the publisher Bigben Interactive/Nacon. Amr openly explained that the withdrawal of the game was caused by several violations of the agreement from BBI/Nacon ranging from late payment of money, incomplete documentation, removal of their studio logo from boxart, and misuse of Frogwares’ IP. Awl also explained that when the game was released on June 27, BBI/Nacon canceled the sales milestone agreement they had agreed to, as a result Frogwares did not get any profit from the sale of the game.
To make matters worse, BBI/Nacon are reported to have purchased all domains from IP Frogwares without their knowledge. This makes the publisher hold the property rights of the brand “The Sinking City” and other IP Frogwares, forcing developers to withdraw games from the digital store.
Of course Frogwares doesn’t want to be silent, they have filed a lawsuit against the publisher in August 2019 and hope to resolve their BIP legality issue as soon as possible. However, for the time being, the game cannot be redistributed until the problem is resolved.
For those of you who want to support developers or are just curious about the game The Sinking City, Frogwares can only sell it on their website directly or buy the Switch version.
