Unique Battle Royale Game, Naraka: Bladepoint Releases First Gameplay Trailer

The battle-royale genre has had tremendous success in recent years through games like PUBG, Fortnite and Apex Legends. All three can be said to have a similar gameplay mechanism, namely “shooter” which is indeed familiar in the hands of most gamers. However, NetEase, in collaboration with 24 Entertainment, presents a battle-royale game with a unique setting and gameplay entitled Naraka: Bladepoint.

First revealed at The Game Awards 2019, the first trailer for Naraka: Bladepoint caught the attention of many because of its aesthetic inspired by Eastern culture and games like Sekiro Shadows Die Twice and Ghost of Tsushima. But since then, not much has been heard of the battle-royale game that will bring together 60 players at once.

Now on March 25 yesterday, the Future Games Show held by Gamesradar+ was held and featured 40 new games from more than 30 different developers and publishers. Among them is Naraka: Bladepoint which released a new gameplay trailer. In the nearly 3-minute trailer, the visuals that you can expect from Naraka: Bladepoint, in addition to the combat system and several AI enemies that players will find.

Unlike most battle royale games, the combat mechanics of Naraka: Bladepoint are centered on melee or melee attacks with a block and parry system, as well as the use of weapons such as arrows. Naraka: Bladepoint has only two game modes so far and 24 Entertainment promises other modes such as duel, 3 on 3 and PvE. Additional characters and weapons are also being prepared, although it may not be finished until the game is released later.

Naraka: Bladepoint is slated to hit PC this summer.
