Update (27/05/2020, 06:00 WIB)

Shirley Curry clarified in a vg247 post that reported something similar, that there weren’t many dreary comments from people who watched it. Although in his vlog he himself says that if they want to play the game the way they want, then they need to go watch someone else play the game. But he admitted that he withheld the video due to health problems. “The average person on my channel is a good person,” he added.

Original story
The following gamer grandmother was bullied online.

Bullying or bullying is often a polemic among many people. Both in person and online. In contrast to fights that cause physical injury, bullying is mentally damaging to the target. Even though it looks trivial, it will continue to be recorded in memory and cause permanent injuries that can happen again.

Bullying knows no circle, even the young and the elderly can become victims. Unfortunately, this is exactly what has happened to Shirley Curry or as we know more as Skyrim’s grandmother over the past few weeks.

Through her vlog earlier in May (via PCGamesN), Shirley expressed her displeasure at comments from people criticizing her ability to play games and her knowledge of the games she’s loved so much for years, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Shirley noted that her blood pressure was unstable and that her health had deteriorated as a result of the comments.

Many people have complained about Shirley’s focus on the role-playing elements in Skyrim and neither completes quests nor increases the character’s stats. Not a few people who remind him of how to play the game.

Shirley admitted to being under a lot of stress and explained that she already understood the HUD, how the game mechanics worked, and how to play the game. “I don’t need to be reminded the umpteenth time,” he said.

Now, in order to maintain her health, Shirley has decided to stop her gaming activities on YouTube for two weeks. It will also stream on a looser schedule than uploading it on YouTube. Shirley also emphatically said that she would delete the many negative comments she mentioned.

Currently he admits that he is not comfortable recording gameplay as usual because it is no longer fun. “I felt like I was being watched constantly. I prefer to play the game alone,” he added. According to him, the activity of recording gameplay that he has been living gives him a lot of pressure when his videos are watched by other people. Especially when the audience is fussy over minor issues.

Shirley Curry is not new to the world of gaming. He has played several games over the years on his YouTube channel. But there is only one game that he really likes until now that is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. So unique, Bethesda as the developer of the game last year claimed to make Shirley immortal in the world The Elder Scrolls VI.
