Xbox Scarlett Finally Reveals 2 Important Information About Its Features

But recently, through a live interview session, Xbox Scarlett revealed 2 important information related to her latest console. Xbox Scarlett has confirmed that there will be no VR on the console, and another feature announced that Xbox Scarlett too use the Backward feature, which allows you to play game titles from the previous generation Xbox console, the Xbox One.

Matt Booty, the head of Microsoft Game Studios provided a bit more information about Project Scarlett and Microsoft further increasing the focus on first-party offerings. When asked specifically about the content for Scarlett, that Xbox Scarlett will support titles from the previous console, namely Xbox One.

On the other hand, Xbox Boss Phil Spencer, executive vice president of gaming at Microsoft, has also confirmed in an interview with gaming site Stevivor that VR is not a priority for next-gen consoles.

“I had some issues with VR – it was alienating and I thought of gaming as a shared experience, a kind of shared experience. We respond to what our customers are asking for and … nobody is asking for VR,” said Spencer.
