Xiaomi Announces MIUI 12 Will Release Soon

Xiaomi, one of the smartphone vendors from China recently announced that they will soon make the latest generation of MIUI, namely MIUI 12. When a vendor will make a new generation, usually the vendor will provide information if they will immediately close the development of the previous system.

Therefore, in a recent Xiaomi announcement, this week is the last week of internal MIUI 11 beta development. So it can be concluded that MIUI 12 will soon enter the development stage. In fact, quoted from Gizchina, Tuesday (24/3/2020), the official MIUI website is already showing signs of MIUI 12.

When you don’t qualify to be a beta tester, the official MIUI website replies with “Not found, participating in MIUI 12 would be a good choice”. With this review, soon Xiaomi’s new system is almost ready to enter the testing phase. Some people speculate that this new system will further optimize the dark mode feature globally.

According to some speculations, MIUI 12 might be launched in April to May. Given that the previous versions, namely MIUI 10 and MIUI 11 were released in May.

MIUI 11 itself is said to be based on Android 11 which will soon be launched by Google. However, Xiaomi will also provide updates to some devices even though they are still using the Android system with an older version.

As of now, there has been some speculation regarding the Xiaomi phone that will get the new system. In an information, there are claims that no less than 40 models will get this update.
