Xiaomi Mi 11 Officially Released in Indonesia, Prices Start at IDR 9 Million

Xiaomi has officially brought its newest flagship, the Mi 11, to Indonesia. With the bringing of the Mi 11 to Indonesia, this is the second time Xiaomi has released its flagship in this country after they brought the Mi 10 in early 2020.

Mi 11 officially entered Indonesia in an event held online on Tuesday, (17/03/2021). In Indonesia, the Mi 11 will be available in an 8 GB RAM variant paired with 256 GB of internal storage, where Xiaomi does not provide an external memory slot as in previous flagships.

As the latest flagship from Xiaomi, Mi 11 has brought the latest specifications, such as the use of the Snapdragon 888 chipset which is the latest and highest chipset from Qualcomm. Snapdragon 888 is the latest chipset released for the flagship series where this chipset is made on 5 nanometer FinFet fabrication.

In addition, Qualcomm also mentions that the Snapdragon 888 will be able to produce very high GPU performance because it has been made with the latest ARM Cortex-X1 core. The Snapdragon 888 also returns to a monolithic design where the 5G modem returns to the SoC.

For the screen, Xiaomi embeds a new generation AMOLED type screen with a size of 6.81 inches and a Quad HD resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels. The Mi 11 display also supports the highest brightness up to 1,500 nits with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and touch sampling reaching 480 Hz.

Xiaomi claims that currently, the 480 Hz touch sampling is the highest among other mobile screens on the market.

“480 touch sampling rate gives you extreme precision and speed when it comes to touch and swipe. Perfect for playing games in my opinion,” said Alvin Tse, Country Director of Xiaomi Indonesia, Tuesday (16/3/2021).

Xiaomi also provides the Mi 11 with a stereo type speaker concoction from Harman Kardon, thus making this phone a quality that is not kidding.

In the sales package, Xiaomi will not embed an 18 Watt charger, they will directly embed a 55 Watt charger with its GaN charging technology.

In Indonesia, the Mi 11 is priced at Rp. 9,999,000 and there will be two color variants, namely Midnight Gray and Blue Horizon.

Sales of Mi 11 will start on Tuesday (23/3/2021) on the Xiaomi Indonesia marketplace and official website through the pre-order line.
