According to DFC Intelligence data, PC gamers are far superior to console gamers, who only account for 8% of the 3 billion gamers in the world. The report states that, although the number of gamer console users is only 8%, console gamers who are video game users account for the highest spending for their gaming needs. Interestingly, the report states that mobile gaming is the most developed sector, dominated by Asian gamers. Where they account for 1.42 Billion of the existing Gamer population.
DFC Intelligence itself says that out of a total of 8 billion people in the world, another 3 billion are active video game players. This proves that video games themselves have succeeded in becoming an entertainment medium that has begun to dominate the global industry with users almost half of the world’s human population.
