Battle Royale Mode Battlefield 6 Won't Be Released Along With The Game

Battlefield 6 is one of the most anticipated Multiplayer games by FPS game fans. How come, franchise Battlefield has always been popular since its first release in 2002. Furthermore, Battlefield 6 this time brings a Battle Royale mode which unfortunately will not be released at the same time as the game.

This rumor came from one of the leaker named Tom Henderson who claimed that fans could not enjoy the Battle Royale mode at the beginning of its release.

Tom Henderson through his Twitter account shared information about Battlefield 6. One of the news he conveyed was the presence of the Battle Royale mode. According to him, this mode will look similar to Call of Duty: Warzone. More specifically, this mode will stand alone and have a different name.

More specifically, Henderson admits he doesn’t know when this mode will be released. However, he said that the mode will not be released simultaneously with the launch of Battlefield 6. If possible, EA will give developers time to work on this mode and add it in the form of DLC.

In addition, Henderson cannot confirm when information regarding the Battle Royale of this game will be announced. Even so, May 2021 is the most appropriate month for DICE.

Andrew Wilson, CEO of Electronic Arts said that Battlefield 6 will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X with various new things. One of them is being able to accommodate more players than before. This statement from Andrew hints that the map in Battlefield 6 is very large.

Furthermore, Wilson added that the latest console is currently capable of running programs built by EA. Therefore, Battlefield 6 can accommodate at least 128 players in each match. This number is quite large compared to the previous series which was only able to accommodate 64 players.

The next edition of Battlefield will bring a lot of new features. Starting from the characters, vehicles and weapons everything is new. For this reason, the development team is currently looking for ideas to make Battlefield 6 even more interesting.
