This secret feature has only been revealed for 26 years. According to John’s confession, this secret PlayStation 1 feature allows gamers to restore saved data that was accidentally deleted. The trick itself is to press the R1, R2, L1 and L2 keys simultaneously and repeatedly in the BIOS menu.

You have to do this continuously until the deleted save data is back. According to John, this feature itself is only available exclusively for the PlayStation 1.

Sony has not yet explained about this feature in the PlayStation 1 manual. However, it has also been revealed that this feature is already familiar to Japanese gamers. A Youtuber channel called Censored Gaming explained that this feature is very common in Japan.
