Indonesian Chess Grandmaster Suspected Dewa_kipas Using Cheats!
Maybe most of you are already familiar with the name Dewa Fan. The name Dewa Fan itself is indeed a hot topic of discussion in the local and international arena. This is because Dewa Fan himself is known to have defeated GothamChess at Chess.com.
For those of you who don’t know, GothamChess itself is a well-known international chess player. He is an International Master with ELO 2400. In addition, GothamChess is also a Twitch streamer and has 700 thousand subscribers on his Youtube Channel.
The Fan God Problem and GothamChess
However, Dewa Fan’s victory was controversial in the world of chess. The Indonesian chess account is known to have been blocked or banned at Chess.com. The reason the account was banned was because it was suspected of cheating or cheating when they succeeded in defeating GothamChess.
The allegation of this cheat was immediately denied by the Dewa Fan through his son named Ali Akbar through his Facebook account. Dewa Kipas himself is a chess player from Indonesia named Dadang Subur who is known to have been actively participating in various local Chess tournaments for a long time.
The Fan God Graphic is not normal
Despite all that, the reason why Dewa Kipas himself was accused of cheating by GothamChess itself was the abnormal graphics that the Indonesian chess player had. The step accuracy graph of Dewa Fan is known to be abnormal while playing at Chess.com starting on February 22 last.
Moreover, knowing that Dewa Fan’s step chart is still normal and human from February 11-21. This statistic from Dewa Fan immediately sparked various debates and indicated that the Indonesian chess player was indeed cheating.
Again, this accusation was dismissed directly by the child and Dadang Subur himself as the Fan God. The problem between the Fan God and GothamChess has recently come to light. In which the two choose to make peace with each other and both apologize to each other for this misunderstanding.
The Fan God is suspected to have used a cheat
However, it turns out that this problem has not been resolved and many pros and cons have begun to reappear. This is because the Indonesian Chess Grandmaster and Percasi (the Executive Board of the All Indonesian Chess Association) suspect that Dewa Fan is indeed committing fraud or cheating.
They are also known to agree that the step graph of the Fan God is indeed abnormal and human. Moreover, knowing that the fantastic game graphics from Dadang Subur do not match the facts on the ground. Reporting from the official FIDE website, Dadang Subur’s name was not found, which means he has never played chess at the international level.
In addition, as reported by Ches Result, the name of Dadang Subur was not found, but Dadang S, who has participated in local championships several times but has never won. This indirectly confirms that Dadang Subur has never performed at the national and international level.
