Game conference events like Gamescom which is currently underway is not only a paradise for gamers who want to get something new from their favorite developers. But it’s also a haven for other parts of the gaming industry for larger business dealings. As done by Aaron Greenberg, the Head of Marketing from xbox, interviewed by gamereactor. Busy with introductions Xbox One X Scorpion edition as well as new exclusive titles that will be present, Greenberg was also mentioned about crossplay with other platforms.

And, Greenberg also responded that they (Xbox) had had conversations with Sony about crossplay, They had worked together through Minecraft and wanted Sony to be a part of them. One community, to unite gamers. So they expect support from Sony to realize this.

Indeed, there is no certainty that there will be cooperation between the two in the near future, but of course now we hope that in the future Sony will soften and agree with the idea crossplay from Microsoft in order to combine all platforms so that the players can play together. And what game do you want to be able to crossplay first? PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Minecraft, Rocket League, or something else?
