Luckily, this was finally clarified by the developer directly, Toys For Bob through his Twitter account. They say that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time won’t have microtransactions. They also explained that there is a bonus skin called “Totally Tubular” that can be obtained in all digital versions of the game.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time It is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 2, 2020. Unfortunately, there is no information yet for the PC and Nintendo Switch versions.
