[Rumor] Bandai Namco to Handle Metroid Prime 4

At last year’s E3 event Nintendo announced that Metroid Prime 4 is currently in development and will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, no other information was provided other than a teaser video with a duration of less than 1 minute. There is no release date or developer studio information.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

But the latest rumors about the game finally surfaced. Eurogamer claiming that multiple sources have contacted them and confirmed that Bandai Namco Singapore is the studio developer of the game. Quoting from Gamespot, they said that they had contacted Bandai Namco but they chose not to comment.

Rumors will always be debated, especially since there has been no official confirmation from the related studio. However, the evidence that coincidentally complements each other seems to be able to convince this rumor. Looking at Bandai Namco Singapore’s official website, it turns out that they are currently opening job vacancies for several positions. In the conditions listed, one of the applicants must have handled AAA games.

Even if these rumors are true, it looks like Metroid Prime 4 will not be released this year. Considering Bandai Namco has several other big projects in 2018. Like for example remaster Dark Soul for Nintendo Switch is coming out in May. Any further news about Metroid Prime 4 will certainly be awaited by many parties.
