This news was first released by Bloomberg who provided a related report from the Vicarious Visions team who took over the development of the remake from Team 1 Blizzard. Previously, Team 1 was in the process of developing the Warcraft III Reforge game, which eventually received harsh criticism from the RTS game community. Until – until Warcraft III Reforge had become one of the games with the lowest user score on Metacritic.

To prevent this from happening again, Blizzard itself withdrew the responsibility from Team 1 from Diablo II This remake is loved by many. Giving considerable responsibility to Vicarious Visions who also developed Diablo IV.

Originally, Vicarious Visions was a subsidiary of Activision Blizzards, but the studio became part of Blizzard Entertainment earlier this week. And although the news came suddenly, Vicarious Visions itself has previously worked with Blizzard for a while and has had success with the game it developed, namely Crash Bandicoot and Tony Hawks.

With Diablo II remake, and Diablo IV which is being developed, fans of the series certainly have some things to look forward to in the future. So wait for more news on Gamebrott, bro!
