T1 Parting with Their DotA 2 Captain, Forev!

T1 Parting with Their DotA 2 Captain, Forev! Lee “Forev” Sang-Don is the first player brought in by the giant eSports organization, T1, to build their DotA 2 roster. But after 11 months and with no visible success, Forev and T1 agreed to split.

The players brought in after Forev were 2 Indonesian players, Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky and also Tri “Jhocam” Kuncoro. Since T1 entered the DotA 2 scene, this team has never placed a higher position than 7 in tier two or level two tournaments. Their victories were only obtained from tier three or level 3 tournaments and competitions, namely the Hephaestus Cup and also the SEA Dota Invitational 2020. This team also never entered a tier one or level 1 tournament this year, and was always eliminated by the veteran team.

Why T1 and Forev created the DotA 2 team is because they wanted to continue the legacy of South Korean players in the world of DotA 2.Forev was also a member of the legendary MVP Phoenix team, which was filled by Febby (current TNC coach) and DuBU (current CR4ZY coach. ).

After almost a year, they still couldn’t get their best performance and roster. Now apart from inYourdreaM and Jhocam, two Singaporean players Galvin “Meracle” Kang and Wilson “Poloson” Koh are still on T1.

From Valve’s registration website for Major and Minor, Forev has not been released by T1. Maybe they want to get a replacement first before releasing Forev on their registration. Let’s wait for who will be the new captain of T1 and the 3rd place player.
