Epic Games Move, Rocket League Free Forever End of September

Since the acquisition of Psyonix by Epic Games, they have started packing to move their mobile soccer game, Rocket League to live in his new home on the Epic Games Store. Along with this, they also announced that the game will be free forever. In other words, players can enjoy it without paying a penny.

Psyonix and Epic Games announced that Rocket League will change hands from Steam to the Epic Games Store starting September 23, 2020. The game will be a free game with the option to download via the Unreal Engine maker’s launcher.

Epic Games itself offers a $10 coupon for players who download Rocket League via the Epic Games Store from September 23 to October 23. These coupons can be used to purchase games or add-ons for a minimum price of $14.99 or higher.

It didn’t stop there, they also released two paid item packs for free, starting from the Endo Starter Pack and the Jager Pack. The package will contain credits, cars, and some in-game items. Psyonix also promises a thematic event Fortnite which will start shortly after Rocket League released on the Epic Games Store named Llama-Rama.
