Time will continue to run until finally humans, objects, and living things are at the end of life, where they can no longer endure the enormity of the power of time. Either get old and die, until it breaks into pieces because it doesn’t last long.

But everything will be the opposite in the world of video games. Imagine what if humans could control time and start time travel. Some developers have tried to implement it with an interesting story and what are the possible consequences if humans play with time. For example, going to the past and changing history that does not match what is written in the book.
Some of these consequences do look terrible because they will always be other unwanted problems. But on the other hand, the consequences are very reasonable and easy to understand. Not infrequently the consequences of the game of time are explained by scientific theories that are difficult for many people to understand.

10. The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time to be one of the best series of iterations Zelda. The game tells of a warrior named Link who is thrown into a world called Hyrule to stop the evil king named Ganondorf.
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time have a time game mechanic where Link as the main character will be able to time travel to the future and the past. All can be done using the Master Sword and Temple of Time. This is solely to solve some of the puzzles in the game as a young or adult Link.
9. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is a rebooted version of the series Prince of Persia released in 2003 by Ubisoft. The game tells the story of a prince who must fight monsters to prevent the world from being covered in sand. There is a very interesting time control mechanic offered in this game through Dagger of Time.
Prince can control time using the Dagger of Time. Starting from stopping time and then killing enemies to turning back time to fix mistakes in your game.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time get a very positive response from fans. Making Ubisoft finally officially announced the remake a few days ago at its second Ubisoft Forward event.
8. Command & Conquer Red Alert Series
Series Command & Conquer Red Alert At first glance, it looks like an ordinary Real Time Strategy or RTS game. But actually if you follow the story, then you will know that this game apparently has a story that begins with the time play of the characters.
The conflict that rages in this game begins when Albert Einstein embarks on a time travel to the past and erases the young Adolf Hitler in 1920. This time game is getting more and more exciting after the second iteration expansion Red Alert that is Yuri’s Revenge released by its developer, Westwood Studios.
7. Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped
Third iteration Crash Bandicoot This is the sequel to the second series. This time, Crash and his sister, Coco, meet a new enemy, Doctor Nefarious Tropy, who is very obsessed with time. He and Cortex plan to collect the crystals that are scattered over several parts of time and use them to rule the earth.
Players will take on the role of Crash and Coco to stop their evil plans by traveling through time and collecting the crystals alone.
6. Final Fantasy VIII

As time travels through, Okabe realizes that he has the ability to see changes in time which he calls “Reading Steiner”.
4. Life is Strange
Life is Strange is an interactive drama game that allows players to choose whatever they want with different consequences for each choice. The game tells the campus life of a girl named Max who is able to turn back time to see the changes in the decisions she makes.
As the story progresses, Max’s time control abilities get stronger. Allowing him to time travel and choose between two options: save his hometown of Arcadia Bay or his best friend and partner, Chloe.
3. Chrono Trigger
If the story and theme Steins;Gate maybe too heavy, then Chrono Trigger would be a little more confusing. This is because the JRPG game made by Squaresoft (now Square-Enix) has approximately 11 different endings. Interestingly, everything can be achieved because there is a game of time which is the main theme.
Players will play Chrono to stop a giant monster named Lavos from destroying the world. Chrono first discovers time travel when a time shard portal suddenly appears in his world which sucks him into various ages due to a malfunctioning teleporter machine. He then meets various characters and experiences different eras, including an era where the world is experiencing destruction.
Time travel is the story plot of the game, some missions or quests will be able to see the results of your actions against an NPC at a certain time. For example, going to the past to tell NPCs to plant seeds and then going to the future to see the results.
2. Chrono Cross
Chrono Cross have the same world setting as Chrono Trigger. The game tells the story of a boy named Serge from El Nido who begins his adventure after he accidentally falls into an alternate dimension while he is on the beach. He realized that he had gone to 10 years ago and met a female thief named Kid.
In the midst of his journey, Serge realizes that 10 years before his time, the world is divided into two dimensions (parallel worlds), where one world is a world where Serge lives in peace, while the other world is where everything is destroyed.
Serge then intends to find out the mysteries of the two worlds which eventually leads him to Lynx, a mysterious antagonist who is trying to stop him.
1. Quantum Break
Of the many games with the game of time, Quantum Break may be the most realistic and reasonable. This is because the time game is given not only via imagination, but with scientific scientific spices. Of course with a touch of fantasy to make the story more interesting.
Quantum Break tells the story of Paul Serene’s time machine experiment and his best friend Jack Joyce which failed and emitted chronon radiation. Chronon radiation that hit the two gave them the ability to control time. One example is to stop time and move at high speed. Meanwhile, the high dose of chronon that Serene received allowed her to see the future and determine what she should do in the present.
As the story progresses, players will learn about the conflict between Joyce and Serene to overcome a disaster called “End of Time”. Can Joyce do it? Or was it Serene who managed to stop Joyce and overcome “End of Time”?
