Dying Light 2 is almost finished, Techland wants to give a surprise about the release date
Despite the increasingly clichéd zombie theme, Dying Light 2 remains one of the most anticipated games of the year. After several delays, Techland’s lead designer, Tymon Smectala, revealed that the game project has now entered its final stages. Not only that, he also said that the announcement of a new release date could be announced in the near future.
We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.
Without going into details, Smectala told The Escapist that they wanted the game’s release date to be a surprise to fans as well as those who had been anticipating the game.
“There’s a team at Techland working on the release date and any info on the game, and we know very well that they want to surprise players, so I don’t want to divulge that. All I can say is just trust us; The game has entered its final stages, and we need your support.”
In the same interview, Ola Sondej, senior PR manager from Techland, also denied rumors of a game project and the Techland team was facing serious problems. Sondej claims that the article sourced from the Polish website has a lot of incorrect information and development of Dying Light 2 so far is proceeding as planned.
In June and July, many digital conferences will take the place of this year’s E3. Reveal PS5 games from Sony and Xbox Games Studio Catalog from Microsoft are the main highlights. Will Dying Light 2 be present at any of these conferences? We will see later.
