Reporting from Gamerant, Apple has banned Xbox and Stadia streaming apps on the App Store. Apple immediately provided a response regarding this matter through a spokesman. Apple’s reason is that it’s worried it won’t be able to review all the games contained in the Stadia and Xbox apps. There is no guarantee that both of them will be able to review the games on the platform themselves. Where all incoming applications must be fair and equal following the App Store guidelines according to Apple.

However, this is quite strange because Steam Link and PS4 Remote Play are available on the App Store. So the question arises is this really a problem with the App Store guidelines? Some critics have also compared the case to Netflix and Spotify, where not every piece of content is reviewed by Apple through the App Store.

Therefore, the explanation above is a description of Apple’s attitude towards rejecting applications from Xbox and Stadia. This itself is still filled with question marks, why Apple rejected the Xbox and Apple on the grounds of review. It is hoped that in the future there will be a more concrete explanation regarding this matter.
