ATLUS Survey Platform Fans Want for Their Games

PC is also included.

Producing a successful video game certainly can’t be achieved without listening to the requests or passions of the fans. Therefore, not a few developers and publishers hold open questionnaires to conduct surveys about what fans want in their next game. ATLUS was one of those who did it.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

The Japanese survey, which has been conducted since 2019 and below, shows the various topics that ATLUS wants to pay attention to. One of them is which platform Japanese gamers want.

ATLUS asked players to choose which platform from their wide range of survey options such as PS4/Pro, PSVR, PS5, Switch/Lite, Smartphone (free, subs, and one-time payment), Xbox, and Steam (Mac/Windows). Interestingly they did not add Stadia like the previous survey. While this time for the first time they added an Xbox.

Not only that, they also provide a choice of various video games that they have, including: Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, and project ReFantasy.

Atlus Survey
They asked “From the platforms below, which one do you have (even if it’s family owned, the important thing is that you can use it as freely as possible). *Please answer the one you have personally”

For their own platform, they then asked how often players played games on one of their platforms. If the player chooses PC, PS4, and PS5, then they will ask for the extent that has been selected.

They also asked about their favorite genres, their favorite games ranging from those that could “make you want to live in the world”, to “immerse yourself in the story”.

Atlus Survey 2
Questions about when and how many days to play the game using the platform you own. The answers vary from every day, between three months, to never playing it at all.

Of course, this survey is not a confirmation of anything, including whether Persona 5 later get the PC version via Steam or not. Generally it is given so that ATLUS knows what fans are enjoying at the moment. But with the variety of choices given, it never hurts not to stop hoping.

This survey will run until March 8, 2021 at 18:00 Japanese time or 16:00 WIB, while the English version of the survey is likely to be announced in the near future.
